Neon Circuit Rush
Neon Circuit Rush doesn't pretend to be a simulator and I love it for that. You tilt or tap to steer, hold to drift, and the whole thing is about carving the cleanest line through a glowing city at absurd speed. Races last ninety seconds, which makes it perfect for killing a few minutes without getting pulled into a campaign.
Cars unlock through play, and each handles differently enough that switching actually changes your approach. Some tracks are clearly better than others — a couple of the later ones lean too hard on blind corners — but the top-tier circuits have a flow that's genuinely thrilling once you learn them.
Nothing deep here, and that's the point. It's a palate cleanser. When I'm burned out on a long RPG, two or three races here reset my brain.
