About

InkForge started as a group chat where four friends kept arguing about which mobile RPG deserved space on a phone that was already too full. At some point the arguments got long enough that we figured we might as well write them down for other people. That's the whole origin story — no studio funding, no launch plan, just stubborn opinions.

We focus on games you play on the go: role-playing epics, slow-burn strategy, arcade bursts for the bus ride. Every game on this site was installed, opened, and played by someone on the team for at least a few sessions. If we bounced off something in ten minutes, we say so instead of pretending.

How we pick what to cover is simple. Someone on the team gets curious, downloads the thing, and if there's something worth saying — good or bad — it ends up as a review. We don't chase release calendars or whatever is trending this week. We'd rather write one careful paragraph about controls than five about marketing promises.

The site is small on purpose. It keeps us honest and keeps the writing personal. If you read a review here and it feels like a real person typed it, that's because one did.
